The apparent simplicity of the art is misleading - there's a lot of talent on those pages.

The stories are so much more fantastic than the shorts made at the time – and great to see characters like Clarabelle making an appearance.

Certainly is Brian. I recall thinking the comics at least fulfilled that part of me that might've liked to see more done with those characters than wait for another animated cartoon to show up.
